“Beware of Your Roots”

Dr. Randall, was born in Kemptville, N.S. on January 19, 1919. He moved to Harvey in 1954, accepting a position as minister for Harvey’s St. Andrew’s and St. James United Churches.

His interest in local history led to Dr. Randall spearheading the creation of the first Harvey Historical Association. He collected stories from local people and information from scrapbooks and other printed material. The Association disbanded several years later for lack of membership. Dr. Randall’s collection of history was put into storage until 2011 when he donated the collection to the new Harvey Regional Heritage & Historical Association, (HRHHA).  His collection of history is now preserved and protected by HRHHA for the generations yet to come.

Dr. Randall passed away on March 21, 2017.
