St. Mark’s Catholic Church is situated in the Donnelly Settlement at Lake George. It was built in 1877-88 by Henry McGarvey on land belonging to an O’Keefe family. In the early years, it was administered from Debec and Woodstock. In 1915, it was renovated during the pastorate of Rev. David S. O’Keefe.
