Eleanor “Jane” (Herbert) Robison (1842-1920) and her daughter Ellen (Robison) Hunter (1865-1934). Jane was the daughter of Thomas Herbert (1799-1862) and Isabel Embleton (1804-1892), both parents coming to Canada on the ship, the Cornelius of Sunderland in 1837. She was the wife of Stephen Robison (1829-1908). Stephen and Jane were married on Febraury 14, 1862 in Harvey settlement by Rev Samuel Johnson. Both are buried in the Robison Family Cemetery. Ellen was married to James Alfred Hunter (1860-1921) on May 19, 1887. Note the pump organ in the photo.
