Frog Lake Universalist Church

The first organizational meeting of the Universalist Church was held at the Farmer’s Trading Company Hall (present site of Watson’s store), on Friday, August 30, 1912. A second meeting was held March 14, 1914 at the same Hall to decide where to build a dedicated church for their services. Participants agreed that the Little Settlement was a suitable place and chose a site on Frog Lake Road.  By June 4, 1915 the Church was built and a business meeting was held to make plans for the dedication which then took place on July 14/15, 1915.  For a more detailed history see this article at the Unitarian Fellowship of Fredericton website by Mrs Howard M Little (Lottie) http://www.uff.ca/talks/19881116.html

In 1974, the church was dismantled and new homes found for the pews and stained glass windows.
