Large format crayon photographic portrait of Stephen Robison (b. 17 Oct 1829, United Kingdom, d. 1 May 1908, Harvey) and wife Eleanor ‘Jane’ Herbert (b. 19 Sep 1842, Harvey, d. 22 Jun 1920, Harvey).

It is believed Stephen and Jane built the homestead located at Campburn Farm sometime around 1862. Their son, Charles Robison was the founder of the widely known Chas. Robison & Sons show herd of registered Jerseys which won numerous prizes at the Maritime cattle shows at Halifax, Saint John, Charlottetown, Fredericton, Amherst and St. Stephen. Their grandson Gilbert Robison received the prestigious Master Breeder Award from the Canadian Jersey Cattle Club, in recognition of his accomplishments as a breeder of quality Jerseys.
