Thomaston Corner Meeting Room

The Thomaston Corner Meeting Room was built around 1930 by follows of the Brethern faith.  It included stalls for teams of horses hauling wagons.

Before that time, members gathered at a schoolhouse. Records indicate that the people of Brockway and Tweedside had been meeting in the 1800s when the people of Brockway and Tweedside garthered to worship.  Others called them “Plymouth Brethren” and they preferred to be called “Christians gathered to the name of the Lord Jesus Christ”.

More information can be found at From the Scrapbook: Church At Thomaston Corner by Rev. Bill Randall.
