 Leading Canadian and North American dairy industry developer, promoter of Jersey cattle breed, community leader

Gilbert Robison was born on December 5, 1904 in Harvey Station, New Brunswick. His farm, named Campburn, became a leading Jersey breeding establishment in Canada and he was a founding member of the Harvey Jersey Club. He also raised Clydesdale horses.

He is the winner of many awards including the Master Breeder Award from the Canadian Jersey Cattle Club, “Stock Breeder of the Year” by the Maritime Stock Breeders Association, Outstanding Service Award from the New Brunswick Draft Horse Association, and lifetime membership to the Clydesdale Horse Association. He is also an Inductee in the Atlantic Agricultural Hall of Fame.

Gilbert Robison passed away on May 29, 1982.
