Churches in the Harvey Rural Community

The history of churches in the Harvey area is closely tied to the region’s overall history. Each wave of settlers introduced their unique faith, leading to the construction of churches reflecting their respective beliefs. The presence of numerous denominations highlights the diverse religious landscape in the area. While some churches continue to serve their communities, others have undergone changes in ownership, and a few no longer exist.

Religions included Anglican, Presbyterian, Congregationalist, Methodist, Baptist, Catholic, Unitarian, Pentacostal, Seventh Day Adventist, and the Meeting Room.  If we are missing any, please email us at harveyhistoricalassociation@gmail.com.  In 1925 many Presbyterians joined with Methodist and Congregationalist congregations to form the United Church.
